Q: How long has Alley Cove been in business? 

A: Alley Cove has been in business since 2021!

Q: Why should I buy or sell on Alley Cove?  

A: Because Alley Cove is building a wonderful community of people who genuinely care about celebrating these eras, and the sellers take pride in what they sell. Not to mention exceptional customer service.    

Q: Are the items required to be from the 80s,90s, or 00s? 

A: No, items can be new, but need to be in the 'spirit' of the 80s/90s/00s. However, items before 1980 will not be allowed and removed from the site.  

Q: What items are prohibited to sell on Alley Cove?  

A: You will not list or sell any items that are illegal in the United States, or in the country where you reside. 

You will not list or sell any items that are of an overt sexual nature (pornography, graphic nudity) 

You will not sell any food or drink products, or anything that is inhaled, insufflated, snorted, or otherwise "consumed" by the human body. This includes tobacco, alcohol, & drugs, etc. 

Q: What is the Administration Panel and how does it work?

A: The Administration Panel is where vendors are able to manage their store.

Q: How do I reset or change my password? 

A: Go to Home Page -> Sign-in -> Select 'Forgot Your Password

Q: How do I close my account?

Q: What are the terms and condition for a buyer?

Q: What are the terms & conditions for the seller?

Q: What happens if the buyer wants to return or dispute the purchased item from the seller?  

A: All returns and disputes are handled between the buyer and seller. We don’t recommend purchasing from sellers who don’t list a return policy. 

Q: How do payments work for the buyer and seller? 

A: Payments are facilitated through Stripe. To buy and sell on Alley Cove all users will need to have an account with Stripe. 

Q: Does Alley Cove use PayPal?  

A: At this time, Alley Cove only uses Stripe. Click here for more information on Stripe. 

Q: How does sales tax work for vendors?  

A: Alley Cove currently collects and remits all sales tax for Texas and Kansas. Since Alley Cove is a newer marketplace, we do not have economic nexus in most states. If you're a seller that doesn't have economic nexus, and you're not in Kansas and Texas, then there is a good chance sales tax will not be included in the sale.  

Q: What are the marketplace facilitator tax laws?  

A: Market Place Facilitator tax laws are laws passed by each state to set a monetary threshold of what triggers economic nexus for all online marketplaces.  

Q: What states does Alley Cove currently remit and report sales tax to?  

A: Texas and Kansas 

Q: Is Alley Cove available outside the United States?  

A: No, Alley Cove is only available in the Unites States.
